Creative Heart retreat

Giving ourselves the gift of a creative focus is a wonderful way to calm our minds and open our hearts to new possibilities. Combined with heart melting yoga, meditation and deep relaxation, this beautiful day retreat offers a special way to begin the New Year with gentleness and joy. Over the course of the day, we will be weaving together practices to awaken the creative heart and let it flow into your very own personal piece of art. In the morning, we will make space for our poetic voice to sing through us and in the afternoon we will play with paper, scissors and glue to make our own unique and beautiful collages – which will include our poems.

If a delicious, cosy day of easeful movement, peaceful meditation and creative play sounds good to you, you’re warmly welcome!

What to bring – loose comfortable clothing with layers, yoga mat, at least two or three blankets and a nice cushion, magazines or old calendars, scissors, glue, nice pens, a sheet of thick A4 paper or card for glueing on to, an A4 picture frame and a notebook for writing, You may want to make sure your lunch is easily prepared (e.g. soup made the night before to simply reheat).

Contribution for the day is £45 (£40 early bird discount for those who book and pay in full by the end of November). If money is a concern, please get in touch. We may be able to help. To register your place please contact me.
